Professional Experience

Tope Aladenusi is currently a Partner in Deloitte West Africa and leads the Cyber Security team of the practice. He currently leads the Risk Advisory Practice of Deloitte West Africa where he provides leadership for the Data Analytics, Forensics, Accounting & Internal Control, IT Audit, Regulatory Risk, Cyber and Strategic Risk Services. He was previously the Talent Leader / Chief HR Officer for Deloitte Nigeria. Prior to joining Deloitte, Tope worked as the Only Operating Officer in a consulting company he started in 2003 shortly after leaving the university. He joined Deloitte in 2005 and became a Partner in 2013.

Tope has provided assurance & advisory services to over 30% of the companies quoted on The Nigerian Stock Exchange and 85% of the commercial banks in Nigeria. He has served 75% of the GSM companies in Nigeria, several multinational manufacturing and oil & gas companies as well as government institutions. He has worked in Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Cameroon, South Africa and in the UK and has also serviced clients in 16 countries.

Leadership Experience

Tope was the pioneer staff/leader of the cyber security business at Deloitte Nigeria, and it grew to be the largest cyber security team in Nigeria; this cyber security team represented Africa at the Global Cyberlympics in 2015 and had the best result from Africa during the finals competition held at Washington DC.

Tope was ISACA Lagos President between 2015 and 2017, and under his leadership, the surplus of the association grew by an unprecedented 1967%. He is also the co-champion of the Science and Technology Policy Commission of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). In recent past he was also a committee member of the Science, Technology and Innovation Consultative Forum of the Federal Government.

Tope has published several technical papers in the dailies and delivered keynote addresses in 5 continents. His annual “Nigeria Cyber Security Outlook” has been a reliable forecast and resource material.

Tope has coached thousands of people to develop their leadership potential. With various platforms like the Accelerated Leadership Program (ALP), Believers Finishing School (BFS) and several leadership bootcamps, he continues to help people discover and develop the leader within them.

Education

Tope is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School, and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Ilorin.

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA),

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

He is also Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC),
Certified by the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) and has completed the ISO27001 Lead Auditor and CoBIT5 Implementer Course.

Ministry

Tope is the Presiding Minister of Christ Treasure Centre (CTC), a church without walls that is committed to raising Christ-like leaders that experience an all-round victory.

Tope received the mandate of CTC from the Lord Jesus Christ on 23 August 2015. Consequently, CTC was official inaugurated on 1 October 2017 in Lagos Nigeria. CTC has a major apostolic calling to Africa and Asia and is currently lighting up its missional light in several locations across the globe. He is also has a weekly program (WinSight) on Dove TV and Lagos TV.

Tope is also the founder and chairman of Christ Lifeline Ministry (www.christlifeline.org) and the executive publisher of Today’s Lifeline magazine (www.todayslifeline.com). He founded Christ Lifeline Ministry (www.christlifeline.org) on 10 April 2003 after the Lord spoke to him about the mission of the Ministry. Christ Lifeline has been involved in several life-transforming projects in Nigeria, Asia, Ghana, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Tope has a deep passion for teaching God’s word in sincerity and simplicity. As someone with an apostolic calling, God regularly permits the gifts of healings and working of miracles to be in operation during his teaching sessions and several people have been healed at such sessions. He is currently working on a divine mandate to raise leaders globally for God.

Awards & Recognition

– Tope was a nominee for Nigeria’s “2017 IT personality of the Year” by the Nigeria Computer Society.

– He also got a Cyber Security Leadership Recognition Award from the Information Security Society of Africa in October 2017

– In 2020, he received an award of excellence by the Nigerian Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime for the outstanding performance of his team in Digital Technology and Cybersecurity in Nigeria.

– He received a recognition from the Office of the National Security Adviser for Nigeria in June 2014 for his support and contribution to the National Cyber Security Agenda.

– In 2012, he was named the Africa’s Information Management Personality, by Records and Information Management Foundation of Africa.

– Two of his articles were recently ranked by Mondaq as ‘Most Popular’ in Nigeria: 2017 Nigeria Cybersecurity Outlook was ranked Most Popular article in Nigeria in February 2017 and ‘Cyberharam’: Can Nigeria Prepare For the Next Generation of Terrorists? was ranked Most Popular article in Nigeria in October 2016.

Family

Tope is married to Oluwabusola Elizabeth Aladenusi and they are blessed with three children. Busola is a very supportive and loving wife and has contributed immensely to Tope’s development. Tope also has a very supportive extended family; his parents, siblings and most of his in-laws are Partners of Christ Lifeline Ministry and they always go the extra mile in extending their support to him. He is particularly grateful to his mum who went through thick and thin to give him a good foundation.

Aspiration

Tope regards himself as a work-in-progress, who is always captivated by the love of God that is constantly moulding him into the image of Christ. His biggest aspiration is to perfectly reflect God’s love in Christ Jesus to people in the world.
